Join JIA as we head to Nepal to serve the poorest of the poor.

Why Nepal?

Call it divine or coincidence, but Nepal has been on our hearts for some time. As our founder Jesse Mendoza has been feeling like Nepal was our next move, people began to enter our circle that opened doors right into the heart of Nepal. After an exploratory trip to Kathmandu and regional villages in the fall of 2022, the need for a JIA partnership was apparent.

What kind of trip is this?

We are going to Nepal to help bring medical relief to communities that have no doctors and no care. Between remote villages and inner-city slums, our team will provide medical care and education to children and adults of all ages.

Do I need to be a medical professional to go?

Absolutely not. We just need you to be willing to serve and help in any way possible. You will be with a team of doctors and nurses, and the needs will be many.

When is this trip, and how long will it be?

While we haven’t completely settled on dates at this time, it will be soon. We’re working with a local NGO in Kathmandu, and coordinating our dates with them. You can plan on sometime around the end of March / early April of 2023, with the trip lasting around 10 days.

What will the costs be, and what will I be responsible for?

Once we have the information settled in Kathmandu, we will announce the costs for this trip. You will be individually responsible for getting yourself to Kathmandu, and the rest will be paid through JIA. Trips like this are not inexpensive, but JIA will provide some resources to help you fundraise and pay for your trip with donor and tax benefits.

How can I help if I cannot attend?

There will be a few ways you can partner with JIA right here from the USA. You’ll be able to help supply medial supplies, gift bags for children of the villages and slums, raise or give money towards the trip, or even help us pack when the time comes.
