JIA launched in 2005, and since that time we have engaged in meeting needs in Kenya, Cambodia, Haiti, Nicaragua, Japan, Tanzania, Mexico, India, and domestically in the United States. We are a partner with the World Health Organization.

Our Story

Story and humanity are inseparable, and our story is one that includes thousands of beautiful lives. Prior to the worldwide pandemic, we experienced numerous stories in desolate villages, devastated cities, and desperate nations. From simple acts of mercy to major medical initiatives, our teams have written new chapters for marginalized people who’s stories had been forgotten.

  • We have worked directly in Haiti sending over 200 medical doctors and nurses in disaster relief areas throughout Port-au-Prince over a span of a year through monthly medical projects to Haiti.

  • We have worked in partnership with the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Education in Cambodia providing clinics to over 1,800 children and establishing a Children's Refuge Center for rescued children of the sex trade, and providing a safe environment to rehabilitate and reintroduce them back into society with vocational training.

  • We have worked in Japan in response to tsunami and earthquake efforts with medical aid, food distribution, children’s clothing and solar equipment.

  • We have distributed food in Nicaragua, South India, and Tanzania.

  • We have worked as a partner with the Ministry of Health in Kenya to provide medical aid and clinics, with continued efforts to build and establish a major Relief Center near Nairobi.

The worldwide pandemic changed everything, creating new challenges for JIA to meet. While the future is unwritten, we know our best days are ahead of us. Our heart is to bring hope to the most underprivileged people in the world, and the world has no shortage of underprivileged people.

We have offices in San Jose, California & Joska, Kenya.
